CLAUDE MOORE HEALTH ACADEMY

• The Claude Moore Charitable Foundation is private non-profit organization recognized for

instigating programs and partnerships aimed at increasing academic competence and encouraging leadership abilities.

• The Claude Moore grant is available on a year to-year basis, therefore funding is limited and

not guaranteed.

• If the grant is approved for the next academic school year, students who have been accepted

into the Virginia Western Community College Regional Academy’s Pre-Health, Nurse Aide, Pharmacy Technician, or Medical Billing/Pharmacy Technician program may be eligible to apply for scholarship assistance towards the tuition costs of the program. The amount will be determined by the grant.

• Scholarship applications are due by March 31st. Students will be notified, through their VWCC

E-mail, by May 31st if scholarship funds can be awarded. Tuition balances are the responsibility of the student.

What is the difference between DE and AP/IB?

Dual Enrollment students are
