inside the front cover of their agenda.

  • This year, the passwords they were given were only
  • temporary. All students should have changed their

passwords to 2427Math6.

  • This provides them with access to the

abundance of resources it has to offer and print out a homelink if they left their book at school.

Materials

  • 1"+ binder with loose leaf
  • Pencils, erasers, pens, and highlighters
  • Agenda
  • Calculator
  • Math Journal & HomeLinks
  • Online diagnostic screening tool designed to feel like a game.
  • Students will complete the screener three times per year (October,

February and May).

  • Screener takes approximately 40 minutes per subject each time it is
  • taken. It may be taken over multiple sessions if needed.
  • As with all student data, information from the screener is used to

plan differentiated instruction based on each child’s needs.

  • Results will be shared with parents after the screening is

completed.

  • Diagnostic tool is adaptive meaning, if they get an answer wrong,

the next question is easier. If they get an answer correct, the next question is harder until accurate level is determined.

Other Notes

  • Conferences: October 23rd ­ 26th
  • Students should only be stopping at their

lockers before 1st period, before lunch, after lunch, and before 11th period.

  • Organization is crucial!!! Students receive

notes handouts very often and will need to refer back to them regularly.
