Program Description

  • EOPS- Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a

state-funded, special assistance program for students who are academically or economically disadvantaged.

  • CARE- Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) serves

single parents receiving CalWORKs Student does need to qualify for EOPS to be part of the program.

  • NextUp – Serves current and former foster youth. Student does

need to qualify for EOPS to be part of the program.

  • Borderless Scholars- Serves students who identify as a

Dreamer, AB540, Undocumented and/or DACA recipient. Student does not need to qualify for EOPS to be part of the program.

Purpose

Provide counseling and support services to increase retention, completion and transfer for academically and economically disadvantaged students. We strive to alleviate the educational barriers that preclude many students from college attendance.
