slide-20
SLIDE 20
  • Pupils do subjects

at the levels that best meet their abilities  study subjects they are strong in to the highest level possible

  • No EM1, EM2 or EM3

classes.

  • Subjects are offered at

Standard and Foundation levels

  • NOT INTENDED to

Implications

Be assured …

  • We will proceed in the best interest of every child
  • We will review cases at the margins carefully and

ensure that we always give our pupils an appropriate combination of subjects

  • We will work with parents to ensure you understand

the rationale of our recommendations

  • But in the end, the choice this year lies with you –

the parents

slide-27
SLIDE 27

Home Support Alignment

  • Support – E.g. Reading all school letters and

Anthonian Updates & file for future reference)

  • Positive Reinforcement E.g. Praise when your

child has done well.

  • Concern E.g. Supervision on computer usage
  • Working together E.g. Talk about what they

have learnt in school today or get your child to ‘teach’ you what they have learnt.
