Pascasiswazah FAKULTI UNDANG-UNDANG UNIVERSITI KEBANGSAAN MALAYSIA (1) Course Code: UK6315 (2) Course Name: Undang- undang Alam Sekitar Antarabangsa (International Environmental Law) (3) Course Level : Faculty (Optional) -Master of Laws (4) Synopsis: (This course is designed to expose students to legal aspects of environmental issues and core principles established under international environmental law which has become an integral part of the international legal order. This course will address the advent and development
  • f international environmental law and the role of relevant institutions in protecting the environment including various key international
agreements governing specific and important issues in global environmental protection.It will focus on the importance of interrelationship between environmental regulation and issues of relevance including policy making and socio- economy through the study of relevant topics including issues relating to air, water, biological diversity and hazardous waste, implementing mechanisms used at domestic and international levels, in particular Malaysia and ASEAN . The course will further address the legal obligations between states that flow from the international commitment established or arising from treaties and other sources of international environmental law.) Sinopsis: Kursus undang-undang alam sekitar ini bertujuan untuk mendedahkan pelajar kepada aspek perundangan alam sekitar dan isu-isu berkaitan dan prinsip-prinsip utama dibawah undang-undang alam sekitar antarabangsa yang telah menjadi suatu aspek penting dalam peraturan perundangan antarabangsa. Kursus ini akan membincangkan mengenai permulaan dan perkembangan undang-undang alam sekitar antarabangsa dan peranan institusi tertentu dalam memelihara alam sekitar termasuk juga beberapa perjanjian antarabangsa yang menyentuh isu-isu utama dalam pemeliharaan alam sekita sejagat. Ia juga akan memberi fokus kepada pertalian aspek undang-undang alam sekitar dengan isu-isu berkaitan termasuk isu polisi dan sosio-ekonomi dalam pengajian topik-topik relevan seperti diantaranya isu udara, air dan biodiversiti termasuk mekanisma yang digunapakai di peringkat domestik dan antarabangsa seperti di Malaysia dan ASEAN
  • khususnya. Kursus ini juga akan membincangkan mengenai tanggungjawab dari segi undang-undang diantara negara-negara yang terbit
dari komitmen antarabangsa berdasarkan perjanjian triti dan dari punca lain dibawah undang-undang alam sekitar antarabangsa.
