The PIP Injection Port is a semi-reusable device that allows the consumer to inject flavoring directly into a Cryo-Vac or any vacuum packed meats without having the liquid
- escape. Traditionally, when trying to inject meats the consumer has to prep it and put it in a
bag, or open pan, which the injection flavoring will eventually come out of. This is a huge waste of the flavoring and doesn’t give you the full flavor since it leaks out. The best option is the use a vacuum sealed bag, but if you puncture it then it’s no longer vacuum sealed and you have the same issue. That’s where the PIP Injection Port comes in. It’s super easy to use, semi-reusable, and allows you to keep your flavoring inside the meat while it’s still vacuum sealed. How does it work? Simple, it starts with a double sided tape ring where you stick it to the area you want to place the Port. Then you take the Snap Ring and apply it to the double sided tape. This creates a nice seal between the two parts but you won’t be able to remove it when you are finished, but that’s okay because you will have replacements. Then you place the malleable insert up inside the base ring so that creates a nice seal in there. After that, snap the base ring into the snap ring and you are pretty much good to go. Stick the needle through the malleable material and inject. It will reform when the needle is removed to keep a good seal, then screw the cap on when you are done to ensure it is covered and
