AIS – Academic Intervention Services
AIS courses are offered in ELA, Writing, Math, Science,
Global History and U.S. History & Government
Inclusion in these classes is mandated based upon
performance on standardized tests and the state assessments
Students remain in these classes until they demonstrate the
ability to pass the Regents in ELA, Math, Science, Global History and U.S History & Government
AIS courses are not credit bearing

Career and technical programs are available for High School Juniors and Seniors at the Myers Educational Center in Saratoga. Students must be
- n track to graduate with their class and have a strong attendance
record to be considered for these programs. Some of the possible choices include:

- Early Childhood Education
- Horticulture
- New Visions Pre-Professional Programs available to qualified students
in their senior year (Engineering/Health Care)

all year long (40 minutes/day)

Student-athletes wishing to play Division I or Division II
athletics must be cleared by the NCAA in order to be eligible to participate
This process involves completing an application at the
start of the student’s senior year in high school
A student’s transcript, including rigorous coursework and
SAT/ACT scores are evaluated to determine eligibility
