What does the ARC see ?

Images are sent as snap shots so they start to arrive within 20 seconds of the alarm at the ARC. Within 50 seconds up to 10 snap shots are received and streamed together as video.

What does the ARC see ?

Camera’s are programmed at the control panel for either black and white or colour images. Image resolution is also programmable as well as contrast and brightness. Email forwarding is programmed at the control panel

• Q. Is a central station needed ?
• A. Yes, although there are options if only email notification is required. Contact your

account manager for assistance.

• Q. Does the system replace CCTV ?
• A. No, RealAlarm is for the ARC or Key holder to verify the cause of the alarm only.
• Q. Can I use any contract SIM card ?
• A. Yes, provided it has access the GPRS (2G) network and you have the APN login
• details. We do not recommend PAYG SIM’s are used.
• Q. Do the camera’s work in the dark ?
• A. Yes, camera’s switch to black and white during darkness and have an IR

illumination with up to 10M range
