518.237.4263 Each year, in the City of Cohoes; we honor two outstanding people by presenting them with a Care Award in recognition of their unique contributions to our community. Counseling Care and Services and the City of Cohoes are joining together again to make this our Tenth Annual reception an even more meaningful event for this year's recipients. It is fitting that at this time Counseling Care and Services is also celebrating 30 years of care to our community. The Care Awards 2014 Presentation and Reception will be Friday, November 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cohoes Visitor's Center, 58 Remsen Street. We are looking forward to seeing many past honorees present. Your coming to congratulate this year's awardees in person will make this a truly special occasion for all. The awards this year are outstanding. The Distinguished Service Care Award 2014 will recognize the Rotary Club of Cohoes and all of its members' many accomplishments of service and care to the greater Cohoes community. The recipient of the Compassionate Care Award 2014 is the Cohoes Senior Center whose staff and volunteers have cared for so many by providing a place to gather, learn, have fun and enjoy friends over a meal. In this year of celebrating our anniversary we are awarding an additional award to a person who has exhibited a life of extraordinary accomplishments. The recipient of this Lifetime Achievement Care Award 2014 is Ron Canestrari, for his wisdom, energy and timeless giving of himself to all of us. Please return your reservations and any enclosures as appropriate by Friday October 31 to founseling Care and Services.
