has a mental health problem.

  • 43% of 16 year olds from ‘less well off’ reported

they had serious personal emotional/ mental health problems – nearly half of a classroom.

  • Teenage rates of depression and anxiety have

increased by 70% in the past 25 years.

  • Only 25% of young people needing treatment

actually receive it.
