PURPOSE OF PRESENTATION & PROJECT INTRODUCTION

  • The purpose of this

presentation is to introduce the public to the project and gather feedback from the public.

  • The purpose of the project is to

repair the slide along Route 3007 in Southampton Township, Bedford County.

PROPOSED PROJECT IMPROVEMENTS

  • Excavation and benching of

the slide down to the bottom

  • f the existing slope.
  • Full depth pavement placement

and milling and paving to tie back into the existing roadway.

  • Guiderail and drainage

upgrades are being included.

  • Minor Right-of-Way will be

acquired at the slide location.

  • Construction anticipated to

begin and end in 2021. The proposed detour will be in affect for 1 month.

  • Project cost estimate:

$400,000
