A Framework & Action Plan to Grow UOIT and Downtown Oshawa
the university’s continuing growth in a successfully re‐emerging downtown; and
establish the desired physical, economic, social and policy context in downtown Oshawa
To properly prepare for growth of this magnitude, UOIT applied for funding from the federal government’s Community Adjustment Fund in January 2010. In mid‐August 2010, the process of developing the Framework and Action Plan officially began. Because this is Federal stimulus money, the study must be completed by March 31, 2011.
