Progress in achieving outputs

Procurement of consultant for Development of the improved MIS system with support from UNICEF has been concluded.

Contract signed with Advanced Geospatial Solutions (AGS) on 8th June 2020.

Development of MIS for sanitation still at infancy stage

Pre-inception meetings have been held with MoWE and MoH AGS was introduced to the key contact persons, AGS presented their rough understanding of the task and general

plans

Scoping by the Consultant is ongoing to gather user requirements Consultative meetings with key contact persons are ongoing

Related activities / processes

  • Dissemination of sanitation monitoring indicators and

measurement framework to districts and CSOs with support from PLAN Uganda was done in 3 districts of Kamuli, Nebbi and Buyende and is still on-going.
