Mobile Apps

A mobile app are comput er programs designed t o run on mobile devices such as smart phones and t ablet comput ers.

Most such devices are sold wit h several apps included as pre-inst alled soft ware, such as a web browser, email client , calendar, mapping program, and an app for buying music or ot her media or more apps.

KINDLE –The Kindle is by far t he most globally popular e-reader and e-reading app on t he market , and was creat ed by Amazon. Due t o it s connect ions wit h Amazon it has a huge select ion of books t o choose from in a mult it ude of cat egories.

NOOK – S imilar t o t he Kindle, t he Nook is feat ured by Barnes and Noble, and has many new releases for sale as well as a small select ion of free reading mat erials.

3.

KOBO – Kobo is an e-reader company t hat was est ablished in Toront o, Canada, and is t he second most used e-reader in t he world aft er t he Kindle. It ’s most commonly used in Canada, and host s a large assort ment of books.

FREE BOOKS –The Free Books app provides 23,469 classic t it les for your select ion, and allows for highlight ing, not es, dict ionary support , and bookmarks, which make it an asset for any library.
