As winter months draw closer and warm weather becomes a distant memory, so does hair removal.
▶
Why? Cold weather begets winter clothing and people simply feel less pressured to remove body hair.
▶
Although some may view winter as an off season for body grooming, most women do not. Studies show that women are willing to go to extreme circumstances to be hairless year-round.
▶
Body grooming is an intimate experience that allows an individual to alter, remove and style body hair of their choosing. However, challenging measures of beauty standards in society too often dictate what is acceptable, and taboo subject matters are often shunned.
▶
Taboo problem areas for females:
▶ Lady ‘stache ▶ Armpit hair ▶ Sideburns ▶ Nipple hair ▶ Happy trail
Sensitive Uncomfortable discussing hair growth Unsure of her current hair removal process
▶ Modern-day woman, ages 18-24 ▶ Women who are seasonal Nair users ▶ They use it often in the summer months, but prefer not to remove hair in the winter. ▶ Women looking for new hair removal products/ a new hair removal process
▶ Excessive hair growth is uncomfortable and challenging to manage, and some hair removal products are unsatisfying. Additionally, sharing experiences with hair removal products online is a bit nerve-racking.
Changing the Hair Removal community: ▶ Openly discuss hair growth and hair removal. Waxing/Depilatory statistics: ▶ Results last up to 8 weeks. ▶ Repeated use minimizes hair regrowth. ▶ Removes short hair. No need to wait as long for hair to grow back before you use it again. ▶ A new wax strip is used each time, versus using an old razor for an extended period of time.

#IWAX Movement
▶ Our #IWAX campaign promotes a unique
message of beauty and togetherness. The evolving beauty world has shown women that they are more alike than they are different, through common passions and body concerns shared on social media everyday.
community to engage in dialogue about why they wax and to give advice to women everywhere on the best ways to monitor their problem areas.
. We set out to explain why women wax beyond bikini season. We would like to normalize body hair insecurities and turn them into positives. We will create surround-sound support for women who are banning together to talk about waxing and harness the power of their voices.
If you’ve been using winter layers as an excuse to stop waxing, it’s
to maintain smooth, clear skin! Waxing beyond bikini season may prove to be as convenient and essential in longer winter seasons for two reasons: holidays and Consumer rewards.
Annual festivities that occur in fall/winter months include: Valentine’s Day, New Year's Eve, Christmas, Mardi Gras, etc. These holidays are momentous periods of celebration that entice people to gather.
Our yearly Consumer Rewards Program will be administered through a subscription-based program that will
giveaways. #IWAX will team up with Universities in the northeast to provide care package samples
Whether you're taking a flight or staying local, feeling and looking your best is important. Preparing for those special people in your life may serve as a priority, but honing your confidence is forever.
Better grooming is affordable for the modern- day woman all-year round.
Nair prides itself on
unique solutions for customers’ problem areas.
Although hair growth makes most women uncomfortable, the #IWAX Movement plans to transform hair removal from an insecurity to a bold, beauty technique women are proud of.
Women will feel empowered to take
their hair growth as they did with makeup in Alicia Keys’ #NoMakeup Movement
Inspired by a photoshoot for her song titled, “When a Girl Can’t Be Herself.” Keys took the #NoMakeup stance and stopped wearing makeup, not
but in public.
The #IWax Movement will encourage women to talk about their unwanted body hair and share their unique solutions. Using #IWax will be the means through which women ban together online to harness the power of their voices to change modern day beauty standards. Similar to #IWAX, the Free the Nipple Movement created online conversation through the use of a hashtag, earning over 4 millions mentions
Free the Nipple is a global movement focused on equality and empowerment, and is one of the fastest growing movements of
