Challenge 1: Data for surveillance is limited
- The national child nutrition surveillance programme is
- riented towards under-nutrition problem in children
aged 5 years or less national data collection system to monitor the trends of nutritional status for various cohorts, especially adults is limited.
- No census on nutritional status.
- Bi-annual Vietnam Household Living Standard Surveys
cover fairly small sample: < 1% population.
