Business in a Global Context (10 ECTS) Learn about the key political, institutional, and economic features of the different contexts in which firms operate and how the company may respond to the opportunities and challenges of the international environment. Strategy and Decision Making (5 ECTS) Learn the relevant strategic decisions that modern firms need to ponder, with special emphasis on recent trends in industrial and strategic dynamics as they relate to digitization

Electives (15 ECTS) You will choose two to three electives. The HD2-IB program will offer a few electives within the IB area that complement the fundamental knowledge

4th semester

Final Thesis (15 ECTS) You are free to chose to write it in either Danish or English

The purpose of the final thesis project is to apply the knowledge, skills and competences acquired in the program to a specific problem. Typically, the final project relates to matters relating to a specific company, planning and managing its international activities

  • Broad theme involving use of theories/models from the course, collecting

updated information, structuring, analyzing. Example: Company x wants to establish an assembling unit for servicing the market in a specific region, among 3 countries, of your choice assess the developments in Politics, Institutions and the Economy within a 5 years time frame.
